For years I worked managing big project teams to deliver big corporate things, IT systems, products, services, Adminstrative improvements, customer service initiatives etc. I saw stress, I saw pain, I saw the lines of age appearing on faces to young to carry them, I saw people struggle, i saw them be(come) care-less, and on a couple of occassions i watched people I cared for, fall sick and die.
I learned how to make peope smile again, and laugh, and want to be in those teams and delivering well, I saw them care again. I learned about the things that people need, tangible, and intangible. I saw how to build collaborations, how to share, how to support, how to be care-full, and when people freely do that I learned how free they became themselves.
Freedom is stress free, freedom is pain free, freedom is open and supportive and warms and holds and comforts you. Freedom is sustained through the collaboration of others who feel your freedom as theirs, and keep you free.
That’s why I do what I do.
What’s your story?
